What You'll Do

• Streamline Workflows: Utilize specialized knowledge to pilot and streamline large, complex, and high-risk workflows with low standardization into the SDC.
• Enhance Observability: Develop and maintain data pipelines and metrics to ensure accuracy and reliability. Support the SDC leadership team in detecting issues, tracking process health, forecasting demand and capacity, and driving continuous improvement.
• Incident Support: Act as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders during incident support. Conduct root-cause analysis, communicate findings, drive resolution, and establish preventative measures.
• Translate Insights into Enhancements: Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement process and product enhancements based on team-generated insights.
• Training & Documentation: Provide technical training on tools like SQL and Python. Create and maintain essential documentation, including trailheads, runbooks, and process guides, to boost team effectiveness and productivity.
• Process Automation: Analyze process data with SDC team members to identify automation opportunities. Build and maintain automated solutions, providing technical expertise, collaborating on testing and defect resolution, and assisting with timely project closure and production deployment. Maintain and update automations based on upstream process changes.
• Process Improvements & Redesign: Streamline complex workflows through analysis and redesign. Identify and integrate necessary tooling and update documentation to reflect reporting, process changes, and improvements.
• Escalation Point: Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding technical issues that the SDC needs to address.

Who You Are

We are looking for candidates who meet the minimum requirements. Preferred qualifications are a plus.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical role, including proficiency in writing SQL for querying relational databases.
• Experience navigating the complexities of financial systems and resolving large-scale technical challenges.
• Strong analytical skills for issue investigation, prioritization, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience managing communications and workflows with both technical and non-technical internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort operating independently and thriving in a fast-paced environment to deliver results, with the ability to set priorities and execute against time-sensitive deadlines.
• Experience identifying and triaging technical issues to appropriate teams for resolution.
• A demonstrated track record of process improvement and proactive problem-solving.
• An investigative mindset and experience in operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in payments, including working with financial partners, optimizing processing errors, and managing payment costs.
• Experience working in a high-growth technology company.
