About the Role
Emerson is looking for a Financial Analyst (Project Analyst) to join our Financial Services Group in Pune. This role offers autonomy and requires fast movers with a passion for quality financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly reporting processes ensuring timely, accurate reporting to stakeholders.
- Responsible for actual financial closes (monthly/quarterly/annual) and explaining variances.
- Handle Revenue & COS Recognition in Oracle systems.
- Perform Control Account reconciliations between Project Module vs General Ledger.
- Prepare MIS reports, Flash Data submissions, and project profitability analyses.
- Conduct month-end checks on EAC movements, loss accruals, and cost corrections.
- Support internal/external audit requests and manage ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
- Fresh Finance professional with 2-3 years of experience in FP&A Domain.
- Hands-on experience with ERP (Oracle/Hyperion), MS Office, and reporting tools like Power BI.
- Certification CMA or CA preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, handle risk, and balance stakeholder needs.
