About the Role: Financial Analyst

Scoutit is seeking talented Financial Analysts to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra. This role is crucial for providing accurate financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making for one of our esteemed clients.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Flash reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, ensuring all deadlines are met and explaining significant financial variations.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports with key indicators, metrics, and detailed variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of Annual Budgets, mid-year reviews, and forecast processes.
• Support the preparation of financial presentations for the Finance Controller and leadership team.
• Continuously research and stay updated on accounting principles and practices, including IFRS.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, contributing creative thinking and solutions to achieve organizational objectives.
• Lead all audit-related financial activities.
• Provide support for ad-hoc financial requests.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in execution within the group.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office Suite, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical thinking abilities and a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
• Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to suggesting and implementing process improvements.
• Demonstrates productivity, self-awareness, and a commitment to self-development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• System knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management.
• Experience with Power BI or similar presentation tools.
