Scoutit is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst for one of our esteemed clients in Pune, Maharashtra.
About the Role
We are looking for dedicated Financial Analysts to join our client's team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Flash reports.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual actual financial closes, adhering to reporting deadlines and providing explanations for variances.
- Prepare management reports that define key indicators and metrics, offering comprehensive variance analysis.
- Support Annual Budgets, mid-year reviews, and forecast processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for the Finance Controller and Leadership team.
- Continuously develop and research accounting principles and practices, including IFRS.
- Contribute to team collaboration, creative thinking, and solutions that drive organizational objectives.
- Financially lead all audit-related activities.
- Support ad-hoc requests and drive continuous improvement in execution culture within the group.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical thinking ability and excellent teamwork skills.
- Self-starter capable of suggesting and implementing process improvements.
- Productive, demonstrating self-awareness and a commitment to self-development.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- System knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management.
- Experience with Power BI or related presentation tools.
