Financial Analyst Opportunity at Scoutit in Pune, Maharashtra, India

Scoutit is seeking talented Financial Analysts to join their team in Pune City, Maharashtra, India. This role is crucial for supporting a client's financial operations and requires a proactive and analytical individual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Flash Reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual actual financial closes, ensuring deadlines are met and significant variances are explained.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports featuring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, including detailed variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of Annual Budgets, mid-year reviews, and forecast processes.
• Support the preparation of financial presentations for the Finance Controller and Leadership teams.
• Engage in continuous development and research of accounting principles and practices, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment with creative thinking and solutions to achieve organizational objectives.
• Financially lead all audit-related activities.
• Provide support for ad-hoc requests.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in execution within the group.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office Suite, and various reporting tools.
• Strong analytical thinking ability and a collaborative team player.
• Demonstrated self-starter attitude, capable of suggesting and implementing process improvements.
• High productivity, self-awareness, and a commitment to self-development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• System knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management.
• Experience with Power BI or related presentation tools.
