Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Aid Systems Business Analyst at Ivy Tech Community College. In this role, you will maintain the performance of our financial systems, oversee assigned modules, and manage a robust portfolio of financial aid applications and reports.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Configuring and supporting Ivy Tech's implementation and ongoing development of Workday Student (F&A) applications.
• Providing continued support for Ellucian Banner and existing financial aid systems during the transition to Workday.
• Conducting root cause analysis to develop action plans for break/fix issues.
• Managing bi-annual Workday upgrade processes, including functional evaluation and testing of new features.
• Performing workflow analysis to document process changes based on business strategy decisions.
• Gathering, documenting, and analyzing complex requirements from internal stakeholders to define system enhancements.
• Building custom reports using Workday Report Writer, Discovery Boards, and Worksheets.
• Leveraging in-depth knowledge of Ivy Tech's operations to identify efficiency opportunities for end users.
• Participating in design sessions with best practices to solve business problems collaboratively.
• Ensuring accurate documentation of systems, integrations, job aids, training manuals, and video guides.
• Serving as a primary support contact within Workday and coordinating problem resolution across campus offices.
• Developing partnerships with other module analysts, users, and administrators.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. You must have at least 3 years of experience in business analysis (technical or functional), project management, specifically within the financial aid domain. Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex processes are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
