You will be responsible for leading day-to-day accounting and finance operations, while collaborating closely with the founder to define the company's financial roadmap. If you excel in precision, enjoy uncovering insights from financial data, and are eager to contribute strategically to a growing D2C business, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reconciliations, documentation, and comprehensive reporting.
- Prepare and meticulously analyze financial statements such as the Profit & Loss (P&L), cash flow statements, and working capital reports.
- Lead and mentor a finance team of 3-5 members, ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy and maintaining clean financial records.
- Develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and conduct thorough variance analysis.
- Drive gap analysis to pinpoint inefficiencies or blind spots within financial processes.
- Work directly with the founder on developing dashboards, strategic cash flow planning, and providing investment insights.
- Ensure consistent compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies, maintaining an audit-ready state at all times.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, and advanced use of Excel/Google Sheets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage or collaborate effectively with a small team.
- A clear understanding of financial reporting standards, cost control methodologies, and reconciliation processes.
- A structured, analytical, and execution-focused mindset.
- Prior experience in a D2C, consumer goods, or retail environment is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across different functions and influence key decisions.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
This is an exceptional opportunity to move beyond a traditional finance support role and actively shape the financial foundation of a rapidly scaling brand. If you are seeking significant growth, genuine ownership, and the chance to make a meaningful impact, this role is ideally suited for you.
