Finance IT Controlling / Reporting Specialist in Bengaluru

Position Overview

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance IT Controlling Specialist with strong Reporting skills to join our Finance IT Controlling team in Bengaluru, India. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in financial controlling and reporting, or a strong desire to develop expertise in this area. You will be an integral part of a team of three Finance Controllers, supporting critical reporting responsibilities and developing into an IT Finance Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain detailed financial reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to provide insights into IT cost structures and budget adherence.
• Process Improvement: Enhance financial processes and controls related to IT cost tracking and reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Financial Controlling: Support the planning, monitoring, and controlling of IT infrastructure budgets and expenditures.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of budget vs. actuals, identify deviations, and collaborate on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Forecasting Support: Assist in forecasting IT infrastructure costs and resource planning in close collaboration with finance and technical teams.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively present financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including IT leads and senior management, in a clear and actionable manner.
• Knowledge Sharing: Provide support to other teams with Excel and Power BI expertise, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data literacy across the organization.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modelling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.

Good to have / Willing to learn:

• Understanding of financial controlling principles, particularly within an IT or infrastructure context.
• Experience with or a keen interest in developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial data effectively to non-financial audiences.
• Relevant certifications in finance, controlling, or data analytics are considered a plus.
