Full Job Description
Revvity seeks a dynamic Finance Intern to drive efficiency and automation in financial and operational reporting. This role involves creating and managing Excel-based models to streamline reporting and enhance data accuracy. You will collaborate with various teams to standardize outputs and champion automation initiatives within the finance department.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Excel-based models for automating monthly and quarterly reports.
- Identify and automate manual, repetitive reporting processes to boost efficiency and reliability.
- Support the automation and standardization of Monthly Business Review (MBR) files, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) trackers, Management and Operating Review (MOR) presentations, and R&D financial reporting.
- Improve data consolidation processes, including forecast updates, actuals integration, and variance analysis.
- Partner with FP&A, Corporate Finance, and other departments to ensure reporting meets business needs and adheres to best practices.
- Maintain and document Excel models for usability, scalability, and future updates.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to reporting structures, detail levels, and automation opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data modeling, and automation techniques.
- Proven experience building and maintaining complex Excel models for recurring reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
