Finance Executive - Hyderabad
Join our team in Hyderabad as a Finance Executive. This is a Work from Office (WFO) position with a 5-day work week. We are seeking a motivated individual with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting and invoicing. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of statutory compliances and reconciliations, coupled with excellent Excel skills.
About the Role
As a Finance Executive, you will be instrumental in managing our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end accounting and invoicing, ensuring accurate and timely invoice preparation and issuance. You will also be responsible for performing crucial reconciliations (bank, vendor, and customer), managing payment follow-ups, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. The role involves assisting with budget preparation, tracking, and variance analysis, as well as handling GST and TDS calculations, filings, and returns. Maintaining meticulous accounting records and documentation is essential, along with proficient use of accounting tools/software for daily financial operations. A key part of this role will be preparing MIS reports using advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting and invoicing lifecycle.
- Accurately prepare and issue invoices.
- Conduct bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Oversee payment follow-ups and inter-departmental coordination.
- Support budget preparation, tracking, and variance analysis.
- Execute GST and TDS calculations, filings, and returns.
- Maintain comprehensive accounting records and documentation.
- Utilize accounting software for daily financial tasks.
- Generate MIS reports in Excel, leveraging formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Solid understanding of GST and TDS compliance requirements.
- Proven experience with accounting tools and software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through skills.
