Finance Data Analyst

DHL BHARAT seeks a talented Finance Data Analyst, Global Reporting & BI (d/f/m) to join their team in Chennai, India. This permanent, full-time position is within the CSI Finance department, focusing on the e-retail and fashion sectors. The role is integral to the digitization and automation of financial reporting and the monthly financial closing procedure.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing data sourcing and databases across various IT systems, with a strong emphasis on Power BI reporting. You will engage in Business Intelligence projects, encompassing business requirements documentation, data modeling, and the implementation of automated solutions, coordinating both internal and external project resources. This position specifically supports Data Analytics projects in financial analysis of customer data and building data lakes.

The ideal candidate will apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance data accuracy and streamline processes. Key tasks involve creating reports, maintaining master data, working on BI projects from analysis to implementation, increasing automation of data loads and validation through data cube development, and working with AI-supported solutions.

You will ensure timely and accurate management reporting on Revenue, Volume, Accounts Receivable, and Gross Profit for CSI Customers across DHL Group business units. Expertise in Power BI for complex data modeling and creating advanced reporting solutions for Finance and Business Users is crucial. The role also entails leading customer divisional mapping and reporting projects, engaging with sales teams, providing variance analysis on key financial drivers, and collaborating closely with stakeholders in CSI Finance, CSI Commercial, and business units to implement required solutions.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2-3 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge of financial and operational KPIs and data structures.
• Excellent technical and data modeling skills in BI tools such as SQL, Azure, Power BI, and MS Visual Studio.
• Proficiency in Financial Controlling and Analytics.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Project management capabilities.
• Ability and willingness to work in an international team environment.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
