DHL CSI Finance is seeking a proactive Finance Data Analyst to join their team in Chennai, India. This role is pivotal in driving the digitization of financial reporting and automating the monthly financial closing process within the eRetail and Fashion sectors of DHL Customer Solutions and Innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data sourcing and databases across various IT systems, including Power BI reporting.
• Engage in Business Intelligence projects, encompassing documentation of business requirements, data modeling, and implementation of automated solutions.
• Coordinate internal and external project resources for data analytics initiatives.
• Support Data Analytics projects focused on financial analysis of customer data and building data lakes.
• Apply continuous improvement methodologies (First Choice) to enhance data accuracy and streamline processes.
• Create reports, maintain master data, and manage BI projects from analysis to implementation.
• Increase automation of monthly data loads and validation by designing, building, and deploying data cubes with business rules and key metrics.
• Work with AI-supported solutions and applications.
• Ensure timely and accurate management reporting on Revenue, Volume, Accounts Receivable, and Gross Profit for CSI Customers.
• Develop and maintain expertise in Power BI for complex data modeling and creating advanced reporting solutions.
• Lead customer divisional mapping and reporting projects.
• Provide variance analysis and explanations for key financial customer performance drivers.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders in CSI Finance, CSI Commercial, and business units to understand requirements and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2-3 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 1-2 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of financial and operational KPIs and data structures.
• Excellent technical and data modeling skills in BI tools such as SQL, Azure, Power BI, and MS Visual Studio.
• Proficiency in Financial Controlling and Analytics.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in an international team environment.
• Fluent in English.
