Field Security Engineer

About This Role

Atlan is building the critical infrastructure that powers enterprise AI. Our customers rely on Atlan to ensure their LLM agents understand business context before acting. We are seeking a Field Security Engineer who serves as our technical security voice, architecting trust solutions for Fortune 500 clients in financial services and healthcare.

What You Will Own

• Critical Customer Trust: Be the expert enterprise customers hear on calls. Lead deep-dive security reviews with sophisticated teams at major global organizations.
• AI Security Leadership: Credibly discuss agent behavior, MCP exposure, context governance, and ISO 42001 compliance standards immediately upon joining.
• Process Acceleration: Transform manual review burdens into streamlined automation. Build the systems that shorten onboarding cycles by delivering judgment-driven artifacts where standard tools fall short.
• Automation Architecture: Design and deploy AI agents to automate evidence collection, keep compliance current, and significantly lighten security reviews quarterly.

Your Qualifications

You have a proven track record of customer-facing security work at B2B SaaS companies. You understand the deep technicalities of LLMs, including prompt injection risks, guardrails, data leakage prevention, and model safety. You are comfortable working evening IST hours to support US/EU time zones.
