Field Officer

About the Role

This is a full-time remote role for a Field Officer at Taxcart. The Field Officer will support clients and partners by ensuring accurate implementation of Taxcart's solutions, guiding them through integration and onboarding, and clarifying tax-related requirements.

• Daily activities include coordinating with internal teams to resolve client issues
• Gathering feedback from the field to improve processes and product features
• Maintaining clear documentation of interactions and outcomes

The role also involves educating stakeholders on product capabilities, monitoring compliance-related matters in assigned regions (including India), and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize customer experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Client and stakeholder management skills, including relationship building, coordination, and professional communication
• Operational and organizational skills such as time management, task prioritization, and meticulous documentation
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret tax-related information and translate it into practical guidance
• Technical aptitude to understand software integrations, ERP environments, and online checkout processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Comfort working in a remote environment, using digital collaboration tools, and managing responsibilities independently
• Knowledge of sales tax, VAT, GST, or broader taxation and compliance concepts is highly beneficial
• Previous experience in field operations, customer support, compliance, or fintech/SaaS environments is an advantage
• Relevant post-secondary education in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
