Field Network Engineer - Chennai

Atria Convergence Technologies (ACT) is seeking a dedicated Field Network Engineer to join our Service Delivery team in Chennai. Reporting to the Team Leader Service Delivery, this role is crucial for ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining network elements within your designated area. Your primary objective will be to achieve 100% customer satisfaction and network uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure 99.99% customer uptime through proactive network maintenance and rapid issue resolution.
• Maintain network switches according to established standards and best practices.
• Facilitate timely network connectivity for all cross-functional teams.
• Accurately maintain the network database and submit regular reports to management.
• Respond to customer complaints in the field, providing quality resolutions within the agreed Time-At-Resolution (TAT).
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical complaints to provide timely resolutions.
• Monitor the Network Management System (NMS) through relevant applications, taking appropriate action based on alerts and events.
• Analyze recurring complaints and work with relevant teams to implement corrective measures, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety regulations and cardinal rules.
• Adhere strictly to organizational processes and procedures.
• Provide structured feedback to management to drive permanent solutions and improve overall service levels.

Key Result Areas:

This role directly contributes to operational efficiency by managing material and time effectively, upholding quality standards, and identifying areas for process improvement within the organization.

Recruitment Specifications:

Education:

• Graduate, Diploma, or ITI holder in any discipline.
• Certifications such as Hardware & Networking, MCSE, and CCNA are preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting networking and hardware issues.
