Field Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor - Airfield Systems

Honeywell is seeking a motivated Field Maintenance Engineer/Supervisor to join our team in Gurgaon/Gurugram. This role focuses on the technical maintenance and operational support of Airfield Lighting Systems (AGL) and related airfield infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical knowledge in Airfield Systems, fostering strong client and operational team interactions.
• Manage the procurement and arrangement of necessary spares and consumables according to contractual agreements.
• Collaborate with internal Honeywell teams, including Billing, Engineering, and Sourcing, for daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance activities for airfield systems.
• Actively participate with clients during operational periods and DGCA inspections, ensuring compliance.
• Coordinate with customers to organize training sessions for various stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports to clients and internal Honeywell Aviation India Limited (HAIL) teams.
• Effectively manage internal teams, including resource allocation based on work conditions.
• Ensure Photometric compliance as per contractual obligations.
• Oversee and manage subcontractor teams, including monthly billing processes.
• Manage client billing and payment follow-ups.
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, implementation plans, test plans, and final reports.
• Provide advanced service support for complex Airport Ground Lighting (AGL) Systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, offering guidance, support, and performance feedback to maximize productivity and engagement.
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Guarantee that all work adheres to regulatory guidelines and compliance standards.
• Address and resolve employee, customer, and operational issues promptly and effectively.
• Identify skill gaps within the team and develop targeted training and development plans for team members.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance jobs punctually, achieving 100% compliance with operational parameters.
• Ensure 100% adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA), OTA (On-Time Availability), and OTC (On-Time Completion).
• Supervise and manage a team comprising both HAIL and subcontracted service engineers.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AGL Field and CMS Systems.
• Experience with CAT III AGL Systems is desirable.
• Proven ability to contribute to Order Booking, Revenue, and Collection targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to manage teams of engineers, both direct and subcontracted.
• Strong team player with effective communication skills, customer-facing orientation, and a results-oriented, hardworking attitude.
