Field Engineer CCTV Installation

We are seeking a curious, self-motivated Field Engineer to join our team at the Pune office. You will be exposed to diverse tasks across various projects:

• Deployment Management: Report directly to the deployment manager and handle all hardware-related tasks.
• On-site Support: Provide technical support, diagnose issues, troubleshoot equipment/systems, and answer client questions on location.
• Installation & Commissioning: Perform complete installation of CCTV hardware (cameras, controller units), cabling, and routing. Configure equipment to ensure performance specifications are met upon commissioning.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance, identify potential issues before they become critical, and perform necessary repairs on systems and equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all on-site activities, including installation reports and maintenance logs.
• Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with excellent communication skills to manage expectations effectively.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, wear protective equipment, and identify hazards in all work environments.

• Hardware & Procurement: Oversee hardware procurement, ensuring assembly and configuration meet predefined standards. Conduct research on new hardware and perform testing protocols.
• Training: Deliver training sessions for security guards and managers.
• Schedule: Operate in flexible work timings as required by the role.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 6 months of prior experience in Hardware or Networking (0-2 Years).
• Proficiency in Crimping, Routing, and Cabling.
• Basic knowledge of networking principles and router configuration.
• Familiarity with IP cameras: setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Solid technical knowledge paired with excellent problem-solving skills.
