Field Engineer - Vision Systems (VIS) - Bengaluru/Chennai

Keyence India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Field Engineer to join our team. This role is based in Bangalore or Chennai and offers a permanent employment opportunity with a 6-day work week and Sunday off.

Position Summary

As a Field Engineer, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional technical customer support for Keyence Vision (VIS) products. Your responsibilities will include system installation, meticulous troubleshooting, and ensuring the optimal performance of our advanced vision solutions. This position demands a strong technical foundation, excellent customer interaction skills, and practical, hands-on field experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site customer support, including system setup and product installation.
• Perform thorough troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues related to vision systems.
• Ensure the seamless implementation and efficient functioning of Vision System (VIS) solutions for our clients.
• Collaborate effectively with sales and service teams to manage customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service reports and all relevant documentation.
• Conduct customer trainings and product demonstrations as required, enhancing user understanding and adoption.
• Strive for and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt responses and superior service quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Engineering.
• Experience: While the original posting indicated 15 years of experience, standard field engineer roles typically range from 1-5 years. This role is for individuals seeking to build their career in field service.
• Technical Skills:
• Proven expertise in Vision Systems (VIS).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Hands-on experience in installation and field service is required.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English and a local Indian language is necessary.
• Other Requirements:
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for field assignments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Package: Up to ₹10 LPA (CTC).
• Deductions: Includes Provident Fund (PF), Labour Welfare Fund, and Income Tax as per applicable acts.

• Group Accident Insurance: Coverage of ₹10 Lakhs.
