Facade Engineer

JOB TITLE : Facade Engineer (Site Operations)

DEPARTMENT: Projects / Site Operations

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Certification in site management or construction safety is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in construction, façade engineering (ACP cladding, glazing systems), and site execution activities are essential.

SKILLS

• Technical proficiency in reading structural drawings, monitoring site measurements, and managing material specifications.
• Familiarity with installation processes for façade components.
• Strong knowledge of quality control protocols and safety standards (HSE).
• Ability to use AutoCAD, MS Office, and maintain accurate project documentation.

LOCATION: Chennai, India

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary supervisor for day-to-day site activities to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) reports in coordination with marketing, recording material purchases via photo/video evidence.
• Facilitate seamless communication between contractors, vendors, internal teams, and office staff.
• Maintain rigorous quality standards by ensuring all safety procedures are followed on-site at all times.
• Track real-time material usage, manpower allocation, and overall work progress to prevent delays.
• Led site measurements, planning sessions, and technical coordination activities with engineering teams.
• Rapidly identify operational issues (e.g., structural discrepancies, safety hazards) and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Generate comprehensive daily reports and maintain accurate project documentation for audit purposes.
