Advisory Services Provided by EY Include:

• Assessment and design of accounting, reporting, and controlling processes, including information systems implementation.
• Optimization and automation of finance processes, including Robotic Process Automation.
• Accounting and regulatory support for accounting changes under IFRS, including conversions and new standard implementations.
• Financial consolidation services.
• Transactions accounting support.
• Audit readiness and remediation services.
• Strategic transformation of finance functions.

• Short-term assignments to finance functions as accounting, compliance, consolidation, or controller specialists.

What You Can Expect - Enriching Experiences:

• As a Finance, Accounting, and/or Audit specialist, you will support and advise Banking clients on accounting, audit, and regulatory matters.
• You will be a key member or lead teams supporting Banking clients in implementing new accounting standards, transforming their finance functions, reporting processes, and operating models, balancing effectiveness, efficiency, and control.
• Demonstrate experience in business development and a motivation to excel in selling Advisory and Extended Assurance projects.
• Proactively share knowledge and experience, contributing to the continuous coaching and development of our teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Impart extensive knowledge and provide subject matter expertise in accounting and finance operations, including:

• Overseeing cash flow forecasting.
• Managing financial risk related to treasury operations.
• Developing and implementing cash management operational strategies.
• Implementing hedge strategies.
• Monitoring of Treasury Payments.

You will also be responsible for:

• Providing hands-on expertise in corporate/bank treasury processes, including cash management, capital markets, cash and treasury instruments accounting, exposure management, and hedge accounting.
• Managing engagement planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Ensuring products and deliverables meet contract/work plan specifications and deadlines.
• Managing the development of tools and methodologies for project delivery.
• Developing creative and practical solutions to help clients achieve their treasury and business objectives.
• Contributing to the development and management of relationships with external and internal clients.
• Managing the proposal development process for prospective treasury engagements.
• Participating in meetings and interviews with client treasury personnel.
• Applying an innovative and transformation mindset to identify improvement opportunities, optimize processes, decrease costs, and increase client value.

Our Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Audit and/or Consulting within the Banking sector, including expertise in the latest IFRS developments.

Required Knowledge Areas:

• Financial reporting and/or consolidation, ideally for financial institutions.
• Accounting methodology, ideally for financial institutions.
• Controlling department operations, ideally of a financial institution.

• A Bachelor or Master degree, complemented with a further relevant professional education (e.g., Chartered Accountant, CPA, or ACCA).
• Advanced skills and experience in: Treasury organizational structure and transformation, Financial risk management (currency, interest rate, commodity), Cash flow forecasting, Cash and liquidity management, Bank relationship management, Treasury technology, International treasury centers, Debt and investment management, Governance, controls, and regulation, M&A support, Hedge accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS for financial instruments.
• Proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach from concept and design through to implementation of projects. Possess intellectual curiosity and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Ability to leverage relevant external networks and build internal networks in a fast-paced and international environment, investing in sustainable relationships.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access).
• Willingness to operate in a variety of sectors and work with new technologies.
• Analytical mindset and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness for occasional travel.
