EY Consulting: AI Enabled Automation - Full Stack Developer (Kolkata)

We are seeking a Senior Conversational Developer with extensive experience in designing and implementing complex solutions using Python, data engineering, JavaScript, ReactJS, and Node.js. This role offers the opportunity to leverage Generative AI for developing advanced chatbot solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative applications.
- Develop custom JavaScript code and integrate with backend services.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and align solutions with business needs.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and refinement to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to foster growth and maintain code quality.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of prior relevant experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Possess 5-8 years of experience specifically in chatbot development.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, AJAX, and API integrations.
- Exhibit knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques within the conversational AI domain.
- Experience with other chatbot platforms is considered a valuable asset.
- Showcase strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Possess excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams.
- A portfolio demonstrating successful chatbot projects is highly preferred.
Skills:
- Strong command of Python and JavaScript frameworks, along with server-side programming technologies like Node.js.
- Experience with Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with API design and development, including RESTful APIs and web services.
- Proficiency with databases, including relational databases and an understanding of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) for handling diverse data types.
- Familiarity with the Conversational AI landscape, including conversational design, implementation, customer experience metrics, and industry-specific challenges.
- Understanding of NLP and ML applications in chatbots, such as feature extraction, entity extraction, and intent classification.
- Experience in understanding and preprocessing conversational data (chats, emails, calls) for training Conversational AI systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
- A commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in AI and automation.
