Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) Consulting team as a Senior AI Enabled Automation professional in Kolkata, West Bengal. We are looking for a Senior Conversational Developer with extensive experience in Python, data engineering, JavaScript, ReactJS, and Node.js. This role involves designing and implementing complex solutions, including leveraging Generative AI for chatbot development.

Key Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of applications, writing custom JavaScript code, integrating with backend services, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, and ensuring optimal performance through testing and debugging. You will also mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in chatbot development is required, with advanced proficiency in JavaScript (including asynchronous programming, AJAX, and API integrations) and knowledge of NLP/ML techniques for conversational AI. Experience with other chatbot platforms is a plus. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential for working in a dynamic environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills include strong Python, JavaScript framework, Node.js, and Azure cloud expertise. Familiarity with API design (RESTful), web services, relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is important. You should also have a solid understanding of the Conversational AI domain, conversational design, implementation, customer experience metrics, and NLP/ML applications in chatbots (feature extraction, entity extraction, intent classification). Experience with conversational data preprocessing and familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems are also beneficial.
