Join EY's GDS Consulting team in Kolkata, West Bengal, India as a Staff member focused on AI and Data, specifically utilizing Tableau. This role is within the Data and Analytics – Staff – Support Lead – ETL team. We are looking for a highly skilled Production Support Specialist with extensive experience in production support, bug fixing, root cause analysis (RCA), implementing permanent fixes, and driving continuous improvement (CI) initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technology and data understanding with proven delivery capability and client experience.

Key responsibilities include providing 24/7 production support for critical applications, troubleshooting and resolving production issues promptly, conducting thorough root cause analysis, implementing permanent fixes, and collaborating with development teams for seamless deployments. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability, maintain detailed documentation, and proactively monitor system performance.

Required skills and attributes include proven experience in production support, expertise in bug fixing and troubleshooting, strong knowledge of RCA methodologies, and the ability to implement permanent fixes. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL tools is essential, along with excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is necessary. Experience with monitoring tools, incident management systems, and familiarity with ITIL processes are also required. Ideally, candidates will have good exposure to ETL tools, knowledge of P&C insurance, understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Data Modelling, experience leading a team of at least 4 members, and prior experience in the Insurance and Banking domains. Client-facing skills, self-motivation, and a collaborative approach are highly valued.
