EY GDS - Data and Analytics (D&A) - Staff - Palantir

We are seeking a Big Data Developer/Senior Data Engineer with 1 to 3+ years of experience to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, programming, and communication skills, with a solid understanding of Business KPIs. As a detail-oriented, self-motivated team member, you will be adept at working independently and collaborating within diverse stakeholder groups, particularly within the healthcare, life sciences, and pharmaceutical domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data models, integrations, and workflows within Palantir Foundry.
• Leverage deep knowledge of Palantir Solutions such as Usecare, DTI, Code Repository, and Pipeline Builder.
• Analyze data within Palantir to extract insights and perform Exploratory Data Analysis using tools like Contour.
• Utilize programming languages such as Python and SQL for data interaction and analysis.
• Apply understanding of relational data structures and data modeling principles, including OLAP engines.
• Implement distributed frameworks and automation using Spark APIs (PySpark, Spark SQL, RDD/DF) and libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Integrate Palantir with external systems and applications via APIs for seamless data flow.
• Design solutions for integration scenarios including Batch/Realtime Flow and Incremental Load.
• Optimize data pipelines and fine-tune Foundry configurations for enhanced performance.
• Conduct unit testing, identify and debug issues, and prepare end-user documentation.
• Demonstrate strong experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, and Data Modeling.
• Adhere to data privacy and security principles for sensitive information.
• Integrate machine learning and AI capabilities within the Palantir environment for advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities and understand business needs.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users for effective Palantir Foundry utilization.
• Engage in self-driven learning of new technologies relevant to organizational needs.
• Work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment.
