Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize tools and techniques to understand and analyze data collection, update, storage, and exchange processes.
• Define and implement data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and development methodologies.
• Design, review, and maintain data models.
• Perform data analysis to capture data requirements and represent them visually in data models.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of data models, from requirements gathering to implementation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with data engineers to create optimized physical data models for datasets.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data for business process improvement.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Experience: 3-7 years
• Data Modeling: 3+ years of relevant knowledge.
• Data Modeling Tools: Experience with Erwin Data Modeler, ER studio, Toad, or similar.
• SQL: Strong knowledge.
• ETL: Basic skills to ensure implementation meets documented ETL specifications, including data translation and transformation.
• Data Warehousing: Good knowledge.
• Optional: Visualization skills.
• Data Quality & Profiling: Knowledge of DQ and data profiling techniques and tools.

Qualifications:

• Computer science graduate or equivalent with 3-7 years of industry experience.
• Working experience in an Agile delivery methodology (preferable).
• Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for solving complex technical problems.
• Proficiency in Software Development Best Practices.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience in implementing enterprise-grade solutions and translating business challenges into technical solutions, considering security, performance, and scalability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Involvement in all aspects of the solution delivery lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Client management skills.
