Join EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) Consulting team as an AI and Data Engineer specializing in AWS. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Data Engineer with 3-8 years of experience in AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, S3, and Python. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and solutions to support business intelligence, analytics, and large-scale data processing. This role involves close collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless data flow across our systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable ETL processes using AWS Glue, engineering governed batch and near real-time data pipelines with AWS native technologies, and implementing serverless data engineering workloads within the AWS ecosystem. You will also be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and scaling AWS Redshift clusters, managing large datasets in Amazon S3, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity through robust validation and error-handling processes. Strong programming skills in Python (including PySpark) and SQL are essential, along with experience in data warehousing concepts and version control systems. Experience with data streaming technologies like AWS Kinesis and Kafka is also required. Familiarity with AWS IAM, DevOps practices (Terraform, CloudFormation), and data visualization tools (QuickSight, Tableau, PowerBI) is considered a plus, as are relevant AWS certifications.
