Micro Integrated Semi conductor Systems in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking experienced Express.js Developers to join their team. This is a full-time, in-office position focused on building scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Express.js Developer with at least one year of practical experience in creating robust backend systems and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of Node.js, Express.js, database design principles, and backend best practices. You should be capable of working independently and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services utilizing Node.js and Express.js.
- Construct and optimize RESTful APIs for both web and mobile applications.
- Integrate and manage various databases, including MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as JWT and role-based access control.
- Ensure the high performance, availability, and security of applications.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers as needed.
- Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams.
Key Requirements
- A strong understanding of REST API design principles.
- Hands-on experience with either MongoDB or SQL databases.
- Proficiency in JWT authentication and API security best practices, including OAuth.
- Skilled in asynchronous programming concepts like async/await and promises.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Knowledge of Firebase services (Crashlytics, FCM, Analytics).
- Good working knowledge of Socket.IO.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong command of JavaScript, including ES6 features.
