Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code using modern programming languages and database querying languages within a large corporate environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Role Level:

JPMorgan Chase is hiring for Software Engineer II and Software Engineer III levels. Placement will be determined based on a skills-based assessment and candidate interview, evaluating coding and system design capabilities. Software Engineer II requires understanding advanced language features, designing viable systems, and solving problems with basic language applications. Software Engineer III demands higher proficiency, independent functioning, advanced language feature application and explanation, cross-technology system design, problem-solving using best practices, broad issue assessment, innovative solution identification, and guidance provision.
