About This Role

You will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of equipment at our Ports & Terminals in Navi Mumbai, covering substations, gates, administration buildings, staff colonies, and workstations. Your core duties include routine/preventive/breakdown maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis, hazard reporting, and shift logbook management.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote optimum equipment availability with minimum downtime while strictly adhering to safety standards.
• Create and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules using Planned Maintenance Software.
• Contact external contractors for critical breakdown rectification where necessary.
• Monitor Emergency Generators, lifts, fire systems, and yard floodlights regularly.
• Prioritize issues based on severity and report abnormal conditions immediately to supervisors.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• For Mechanical Engineers: In-depth knowledge of Engines, Hydraulics, Ropes & Gearboxes.
  (Note: PLC/Drive system knowledge is required for Electrical Engineer roles)
• Routine inspection and corrective action capabilities.
• Safety policy adherence (Health, Safety & Environment).
