Exchange Engineer

Role Overview

Gambit Technologies is seeking an experienced Exchange Engineer to partner with a distinguished client in New York. This role offers direct ownership over a hybrid Microsoft environment, driving critical migrations to Microsoft 365 and leading Tier 3 incident resolution.

• Lead and manage the end-to-end deployment of hybrid Exchange environments.
• Execute advanced migrations from on-premises servers (Exchange 2016/2019) to Microsoft Cloud.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation point for complex messaging incidents and architectural issues.
• Leverage PowerShell expertise to automate administrative workflows, reporting, and health checks ensuring high availability through robust DR strategies.
• Monitor mail traffic and security logs proactively to identify threats, anomalies, and compliance gaps.

Collaborate closely with the security team on Data Loss Prevention (DLP), encryption standards, and Purview policy enforcement. Essential skills include troubleshooting SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations from scratch to ensure a secure email ecosystem.
