About The Role

This position represents an opportunity for a rare class of Exceptional Engineer based in India. You will join a fast-moving, highly technical environment driven by builders who prioritize shipping impactful systems on a globally adopted open-source observability platform.

Your Impact

• Core Infrastructure: Contribute to foundational developer infrastructure (metrics, logs, traces) used by thousands of engineering teams worldwide.
• Architecture & Design: Own end-to-end complex problems from scoping through production deployment. Identify architectural gaps and improve system performance proactively.
• Observability at Scale: Build scalable, reliable systems capable of supporting rapid user growth in distributed environments using technologies like OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, or ClickHouse (advantageous).

Your Responsibilities

• Design and ship high-impact features across core observability systems.
• Collaborate with a global team to define technical direction and raise engineering standards.
• Debug critical production issues with speed, precision, and strong systems thinking.

Requirements for Success

• Experience: Proven track record in fast-paced, high-growth environments owning systems through growth phases.
• Tech Stack: Strong ability to design scalable distributed systems; familiarity with observability concepts is a plus.
