Event Technology Specialist

Role Overview

Cadence is seeking a dynamic Event Technology Specialist to lead the selection, implementation, and management of technology platforms powering our events. You will be the backbone for event teams and vendors, ensuring seamless system operation and an exceptional experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Management: Build and maintain comprehensive event ecosystems including websites, mobile apps, webinars, and specialized software platforms. Ensure every configuration delivers a frictionless user journey.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Event Lead to orchestrate detailed timelines across all workstreams, monitoring progress within each specialty to ensure on-time delivery.
• Vendor & Staff Liaison: Act as the primary interface between Cadence staff and external vendors. Diagnose technical issues before they impact events and resolve them quickly under pressure.
• Process Optimization: Translate strategic needs into clear scopes, budgets, and work plans. Evaluate outcomes to propose continuous improvements in technology support approaches and user experiences.
• Knowledge & Training: Develop robust documentation for global teams, design training sessions, and create materials that empower staff to master enterprise event software applications.

About You

You hold an Associate or Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience. You are proficient in mobile apps, webinar platforms, and lead capture tools. Possessing a calm demeanor under pressure and strong problem-solving skills, you take pride in executing flawless events. As a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, you proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in event management tools.
• Cvent experience is strongly preferred and will be highly valued.
