EUC/Desktop Engineer

Tata Consultancy Services is actively seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer based in Troy, NY to support and maintain our organization's robust end-user computing environment. In this critical position, you will manage desktop hardware, software deployments, and related infrastructure, ensuring a secure, efficient, and seamless user experience through hands-on technical support and strategic project participation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 desktop and laptop systems for our New York operations.
• Leverage industry-leading tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Intune to package and deploy software efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex escalated desktop support issues at Tier 2/3 levels, ensuring minimal downtime for users in Troy, NY.
• Maintain and update standardized desktop images and configuration baselines aligned with ITIL best practices.
• Proactively apply security patches and updates to all endpoint systems to maintain a secure environment.
• Assist with Active Directory user and group management to ensure accurate access controls.
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to enhance team knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT teams on endpoint security, compliance standards, and lifecycle management strategies.
• Participate in hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, and major software rollouts.
• Commit to after-hours support rotations as needed to respond rapidly to critical incidents affecting our New York office operations.
