ETRM Business Analyst

Role Overview

The ETRM Business Analyst at Orchestrade provides critical support for energy and commodity client solutions through business analysis, implementation, research, development validation, and direct engagement with clients. You will work on platforms serving financial institutions and energy companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Analyze complex ETRM application architectures to design scalable functional specifications that translate real-world trading challenges into rapid, market-ready solutions.
• ETRM Framework Enhancement: Configure energy product frameworks and validate transaction processing, trade lifecycle workflows (physical/financial), risk/PnL calculations, database updates, and downstream interfaces.
• Client Relationship & Operations Management: Act as the primary functional contact to build partnerships based on deep understanding of client trading setups. Manage requests, resolve concerns, and deliver system training.
• Issue Triage & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate complex issues from clients, identify root causes via preliminary technical analysis, prepare development tickets, and bridge business needs with developer teams for accurate fixes.
• Cross-Functional Delivery: Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, QA/Automation teams to write precise specs, manage risks, validate new developments through rigorous testing, and ensure smooth production deliveries.
