ETL Developer

Data Warehouse Development & Management

Build and maintain a robust data warehouse environment to support comprehensive analytics, reporting, and trend analysis across financial, operational, and business metrics. Design, develop, and implement efficient ETL processes to extract and transform data from company servers and various external data sources. Populate data warehouses, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, quality, and consistency. Rigorously test and validate ETL workflows and data pipelines to guarantee performance, scalability, and reliability.

Data Integration & System Connectivity

Design, build, and test end-to-end ETL and data integration solutions spanning multiple platforms. Develop automated data pipelines for the collection, cleaning, transformation, and storage of data within data warehouses. Operationalize data flow between cross-functional systems, including ERP, ATS, VMS, and other financial and operational applications. Ensure timely and accurate data synchronization between source systems and target databases.

Data Exploration & Insights

Mine data to uncover valuable insights. Conduct thorough data exploration, cleansing, and transformation activities to support internal data initiatives. Analyze datasets to identify trends, detect anomalies, and pinpoint opportunities for business improvement. Prepare clear reports and documentation to present findings and actionable recommendations to management and project stakeholders.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

Consult with program management teams, BI leadership, and other business stakeholders to meticulously capture analytics and data integration requirements. Support BI Analysts in the design, build, and deployment of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. Collaborate closely with data architects and analysts to ensure all solutions align with business needs and established technical standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows.

Continuous Improvement

Research and recommend emerging ETL tools, innovative data integration technologies, and industry best practices. Contribute actively to data modernization efforts, including the migration to cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Snowflake. Drive automation and standardization initiatives within data engineering and integration processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Advanced certification or training in ETL tools or cloud data services is highly preferred.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in ETL design, development, and ongoing maintenance.
• Proven experience working with industry-standard ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory.
