Primetrace Technologies is seeking an Associate Enterprise Data Platform Engineer for their Aladdin Data team in Mumbai. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic data engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

• Engage actively in chapter ceremonies, contributing to project planning and estimation.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data owners, platform teams, and other stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Utilize technologies such as Airflow, Python, Snowflake, and dbt to enhance and maintain the Enterprise Data Platform's (EDP) acquisition, ingestion, processing, orchestration, and data quality (DQ) frameworks.
• Embrace and adopt new tools and technologies to improve framework capabilities.
• Develop and execute comprehensive end-to-end tests to ensure successful production operations post-release.
• Document and present project achievements and challenges to both internal and external audiences.
• Exhibit a deep understanding of modern data engineering tools and best practices.
• Design and implement solutions that are performant, consistent, and scalable.
• Contribute to critical design decisions for complex data systems.
• Provide L2/L3 support to resolve technical and operational issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Expert proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures and User-Defined Functions (UDFs).
• Advanced programming skills in Python or Core Java.
• Proven experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-native databases.
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools, particularly Airflow.
• Experience with declarative transformation tools such as dbt.
• Familiarity with Azure services, especially Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) or equivalent.
• Exposure to real-time streaming platforms and message brokers like Snowpipe Streaming or Kafka.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and related tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Aha!).
• Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Experience with performance tuning techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization and fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive attitude, especially when facing challenges.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred.
