Engineering Manager

Ausenco, a global innovator in the mining and metals industry, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for our Burlington, Ontario office. This role is crucial for overseeing the engineering and design phases of mineral processing projects. You will lead a diverse team of engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure project success. Key responsibilities include managing all engineering and design aspects from conceptualization through detailed engineering across multiple disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Process, Electrical, and Instrumentation). You will be accountable for technical approvals, collaborating with Functional Managers to meet project objectives, and managing the design team's performance in terms of schedule, budget, and resources. Client collaboration to define scopes and deliver tailored solutions is essential. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental focus are paramount.
