Engineering Manager

Role Overview:We are seeking an Engineering Manager passionate about our mission who can lead multiple teams with autonomy in a fast-paced environment. • A minimum of 3 years as an Engineering Manager with proven people management skills.
• Experience building and operating large-scale products.
• Strong project management expertise.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Capability to review and guide technical decisions made by tech leads.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience designing system-wide architecture.
• Skill in managing multicultural teams.
• Hiring expertise including screening, interviewing, direct recruiting, and hosting technical events.
• Tech stack knowledge: RDBMS/NoSQL databases, Linux, monitoring systems, logging, operations, SLO/SLA management.
• Microservices architecture development experience.
• Cloud development proficiency (AWS or GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with UI development concepts.
• OSS contribution and community engagement history.

• Specialized Domain Experience:Candidates should have strong expertise in at least one of the following areas:
• Backend Development: Design, build, and operate APIs using Go or PHP.
• Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with ML modeling or development within complex ML systems.
• Data Engineering: Architecture of large-scale data/BI solutions on cloud platforms; ETL pipeline creation (e.g., DBT, Dataform); BI tool implementation (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
