Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and cultivate a high-performing engineering team of 6-12+ engineers, focusing on core pipeline, AI features, or related domains.
• Take ownership of team delivery, encompassing planning, prioritization, and delivering high-quality releases that meet roadmap commitments.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, mentoring, conducting one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and supporting career development.
• Provide technical direction and guidance through code reviews and technical alignment, while prioritizing people leadership.
• Shield the team from external distractions, ensuring clear and consistent communication of progress and impact to leadership.
• Establish and enhance processes to improve quality, velocity, reliability, and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate effectively with product management and other leaders on key strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 9 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in people management. Senior Engineering Managers should have 12+ years of total experience and experience managing larger teams or scopes.
• A strong technical background, with prior hands-on experience in Golang, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures being highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in scaling teams and products within fast-growth environments.
• Exceptional coaching, conflict resolution, and culture-building capabilities.
• The ability to articulate the business value of technical work and present confidently.
• A genuine interest in AI-powered data platforms and their real-world enterprise impact.
