Onsurity is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented engineering team in Bangalore. This pivotal role involves fostering a culture of innovation, driving technical excellence, and balancing managerial duties with hands-on development. You will be instrumental in guiding the team to achieve ambitious technical goals, maintain product quality, and align development efforts with overarching business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete software development lifecycle, from initial concept through release and ongoing support.
• Engage in hands-on development, writing high-quality code, contributing to feature development, and shaping technical designs.
• Lead the team in architecting, developing, and deploying scalable, robust systems, enforcing software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to define product requirements and user stories.
• Oversee architectural decisions, code reviews, and best practices to ensure efficient development and deployment.
• Effectively allocate engineering resources, manage workloads, and optimize team productivity.
• Partner with Quality Assurance teams to guarantee thorough testing of product releases and address any identified issues.
• Establish and refine DevOps workflows, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for rapid, reliable releases.
• Champion the adoption of development tools like GitHub CoPilot and explore the application of Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance development efficiency.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive best practices, secure coding guidelines, and release documentation, including release notes, deployment procedures, and version control strategies.
• Work with customer support and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout and after product releases.
• Implement metrics, reporting, analysis, and action plans to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality work and adaptability to evolving challenges.
