Engineering Manager

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead critical systems impacting over 1 million users and processing more than $2 billion in transactions. This role involves full ownership of architecture and execution, extending beyond people management. You will work on advanced AI use cases in areas such as credit, risk assessment, fraud detection, and personalization. Our environment emphasizes minimal bureaucracy, high accountability, and rapid decision-making. The ideal candidate will lead and deliver large-scale fintech platforms, design and own microservices and system architecture, mentor engineers, and elevate the team's engineering standards. A key focus will be driving the adoption of AI/ML technologies within our core user-facing systems. This position requires close collaboration with product and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering teams for high-impact fintech platforms.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proficiency in backend development, particularly with Node.js or Python.
• Extensive experience in system design and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI/ML systems in production environments.
• A builder's mentality focused on scaling, optimization, and iterative improvement.
• Familiarity with our tech stack, including Node.js/Python, JavaScript, AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and AI APIs.
