We are seeking an exceptional Engineer to join Ballista Labs. This full-time hybrid role involves developing and maintaining software to augment and replace traditional design workflows for our AI-driven 3D design platform used by mechanical engineers.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain innovative software solutions that enhance engineering design processes.
• Serve as a direct liaison with customers, communicating effectively with their engineering teams to understand needs.
• Visit customer sites on an occasional basis and provide support during sales meetings.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in hardware engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related fields) with a proven track record of taking designs from concept through production or operation.
• Proficiency with common engineering tools including CAD software and simulation tools such as FEA and circuit simulators.
• Solid experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and familiarity with various production processes.
• Comfort working alongside AI agents to streamline workflows.
• Strong communication skills capable of engaging with customers' engineers and supporting sales efforts.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related discipline) is required.
