Role Accountabilities

• Bridge & Highway Design: Experience in highway structures and road bridge design using structural analysis tools. Responsible for standard designs supporting highways, railways, civil works, and utilities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project leads and reviewers on complex projects, delivering value-added solutions throughout the lifecycle.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis concepts; willingness to learn tools like Microstation, Open Bridge Modeler/Designer. Verify self-checks of design submittals and collaborate with senior staff for quality outcomes per project requirements.
• Data Management: Prepare design reports, check drawings, compute quantities, and generate reinforcement schedules as needed.
• Project Support: Assist leads in managing timelines, budgets, and health & safety across all projects.
• Cross-Regional Coordination: Build effective relationships with disciplines and colleagues in GEC (USA) and other regions.

Skill Requirements

You must be confident working independently with strong influencing, motivating, and delegating skills. Possess excellent written/verbal communication abilities.

Standards: Fair knowledge of US standards (AASHTO/ACI), LRFD, DMRB, British/Euro Codes, and ANA region delivery processes.

Bridge Design: Knowledge in prestressed and steel composite bridges for vehicular, pedestrian, and utility structures.

Digital Tools: Ability to conceptualize/design/coordinate using digital tools (MIDAS Civil, STAAD Pro, SAM LEAP, AutoCAD, Leap Concrete/Steel, MathCad, Microstation, FDOT/GDOT Design Standard Tools).

Hydrology & BIM: Familiarity with HEC-RAS and Hydrology tools is advantageous. Must have knowledge of BIM processes and Common Data Environment applications.

CAD/BIM Software: Working knowledge of Revit, MicroStation, ProjectWise, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
