About the Role

Join our Payments Platform team as a Senior Engineer working on OpenTable's flagship consumer iOS app. You will drive end-to-end payment experiences at global scale, building new features while refining existing ones and maintaining code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement new product features in Swift with close collaboration with designers and product managers.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define public APIs used by our apps globally.
• Maintain the codebase, adding unit tests and refactoring as needed for optimal performance.
• Contribute to app architecture using modern patterns like reactive programming and async frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices in iOS development.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in iOS development with proficiency in Swift.
• Pas sion for consumer product design and user experience excellence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across time zones.
• Experience with unit testing (strong plus) and backend systems knowledge beneficial.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Android development is a bonus, though not required.
