Software Development Engineer (Full Stack) - Angular Specialist

Landis+Gyr is seeking a highly motivated Front-End Developer with 1 to 3 years of experience, specializing in Angular, for its Global Development Center in Noida, India. This role is crucial for our multi-year journey to the cloud, focusing on building and maintaining responsive, high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate possesses a passion for creating exceptional user interfaces and a strong foundation in front-end technologies. While Angular is the primary expertise, experience with React and a good understanding of backend services using Python are advantageous. You will work within a microservices architecture and deploy applications to a Google Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and business users to develop end-to-end solutions.
• Translate business requirements into actionable data tasks.
• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable code.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers on new feature implementation.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Integrate with backend RESTful APIs and understand data flow in a microservices architecture.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1-3 years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Angular (latest version), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
• Solid understanding of state management patterns (e.g., NgRx, Services).
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) for application deployment and basic service usage (GCS, Compute Engine, App Engine).
• Experience with version control systems, primarily Git/GitLab.
