Engineer

Role Overview:
Join Ericsson as a passionate Engineer-RAN focused on maintaining and enhancing technical capabilities in Automated Operations of Services. This position involves diagnosing issues, providing rapid domain support, fulfilling resource requirements, managing on-site technical support, and executing proactive/reactive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the specialist escalation point with 24/7 availability for ticket queues.
• Identify and implement improvements in automated recovery while providing service surveillance support onsite.
• Conduct proactive analysis to detect potential failures, ensuring swift incident restoration.
• Provide Incident Management Support and initiate Level 3 Functional Escalations when necessary.
• Fulfill service resource activities and assist with change management efforts.
  

Troubleshooting & Operations:You will handle basic troubleshooting for eNodeB/NodeB/BTS alarms, perform log checking, monitor network performance reports, and coordinate with field teams or senior engineers. Shift work under supervision is required.

Required Skills:
- 2–3 years experience in RAN network operations (GSM, WCDMA, LTE).

Analyze RAN KPIs for 2G/3G/4G/5G networks including RRC, ERAB, handovers, PRB usage, SINR/CQI.

General understanding of call flows and channel concepts.

Familiarity with OSS/NMS tools such as Nokia NetAct, Ericsson ENM, or Huawei U2000 for monitoring.

Detect real-time degradations in alarms/outages across System Modules, Radio modules, BTS/Node-B/eNodeB/gNodeB.
