Engineer

About the Role

Renesas is seeking an experienced Engineer to develop performance models using SystemC TLM 2.0 for complex SoCs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, design engineers, software developers, and verification experts.

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity performance models for SoC designs.
• Analyze system bottlenecks in CPU, GPU, DDR, Interconnects (PCIe, UCIe), and optimize overall efficiency.
• Conduct simulations to validate architectural goals and provide detailed analysis reports.
• Mentor junior engineers on modelling best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 10+ years of experience in SoC performance modeling. Expertise in SystemC TLM 2.0, simulators, and deep understanding of modern SoC architectures is required.
