About the Team

You will join the Digital Foundation Platform team (Software Centre of Excellence), responsible for developing foundational components, SaaS applications, digital lab tools, AI solutions, and agentic AI to help scientists work efficiently. Our elite software products accelerate scientific discovery by providing content selection, teamwork tools, and scientific apps that allow customers to focus on innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features for the Connect Platform & Ecosystem, Customer tenancy, Authorization, and Digital product subscriptions.
• Owning technical work integrity across significant concurrent projects with end-to-end ownership from design to support.
• Leading implementation of automated unit/integration testing, code reviews, debugging, and complex integration across multiple projects.
• Mentoring team members on technical challenges while actively participating in Scrum ceremonies (grooming, sprint planning).

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a hands-on developer with 7+ years of relevant experience. The role requires strong OOAD principles, proficiency in Java/JEE frameworks (Spring Boot, Apache Tomcat), microservices architecture on AWS (S3, DynamoDB, EC2), database expertise (Postgres/MySQL/Oracle), and CI/CD skills using Docker/Kubernetes.

Nice to Have

• Frontend development with JavaScript/AngularJS.
• Mobility platform experience.
• Familiarity with security tools like SonarQube, Veracode, or Ansible.
