Software Engineer II - ServiceNow at Fanatics in Hyderabad

Join Fanatics, a leading global innovator in the sports and entertainment industry, as a Software Engineer II specializing in ServiceNow. This permanent role is based in the vibrant city of Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. We are seeking a talented individual with 1-3 years of experience to contribute to our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, efficient workflows, and seamless integrations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meticulously review requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
• Perform essential system administration tasks, such as scheduling platform maintenance, managing user access, and undertaking other assigned duties.
• Create and uphold comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, thorough test plans, and user-friendly guides.
• Adhere strictly to the prescribed Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process to ensure alignment with all compliance commitments.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues pertaining to the ServiceNow platform and its applications.
• Continuously stay abreast of ServiceNow best practices and emerging industry trends to optimize platform performance and ensure it remains up-to-date.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a significant focus on ITSM and ITOM modules.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing custom applications and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
• A solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, encompassing its data model, security frameworks, and scripting capabilities.
• Proficiency in core web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Experience in developing and designing RESTful services and APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in developing in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Familiarity with other ITSM tools and platforms.
• Experience with one or more front-end development frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue).
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly advantageous.
• Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise platforms.

Educational Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required, or equivalent practical experience.
