Engineer II

About the Role

Enterprise AI builds products combining modeling work with user-facing applications. Full Stack Engineers move across data, models, platforms, APIs and interfaces in a single workflow. Digital workers handle much of the build process for services, APIs, components, tests, evaluations and production monitoring.

The Role: The Engineer II independently builds and ships AI-integrated features at a days-to-weeks cadence. You will work closely with GSK business teams to prototype against real data, own quality assurance for digital workers' deliverables, make evidence-based calls on feature continuation or termination, and contribute reusable components.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery & Experimentation: Own use cases from problem framing to first production version; qualify incoming asks by challenging underspecified problems;
• Agent-Operated Engineering: Build with digital workers as the default mode, design and orchestrate multi-agent workflows,
• Platforms & APIs: Design backend services independently with observability and compliance; choose API patterns suited to consumers,
• AI Integration: Build AI-integrated features including RAG pipelines and tool use; test with structured evaluation frameworks;
• User Experience: Deliver complete UI features with measurable engagement; build transparent AI-powered interfaces.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-stack or AI/ML engineering experience including production deployments;
• Demonstrated ability to take ideas from sketch to working software at speed;
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript, JavaScript or Go with backend/UI experience;
• Hands-on GenAI patterns: agents, multi-agent orchestration, RAG, tool use, prompt engineering and evaluation pipelines;
• Daily use of AI coding agents as the primary mode of development.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
